I have to wonder why Mrs. Gay Caswell does not permit replies to her blog. She wants to be heard but does not allow people who have knowledge of her situation to add their information. I have to ask why. I believe she has a little following who send her donations and maybe she does not want anyone to shift the focus of her plight.
So, I would like to ask Mrs. Gay Caswell why, if she had the money raised for her house, and this money, delivered to the Housing Authorities and refused by them, has now suddenly 'vanished'. Now, she is trying to raise 'ANOTHER' $25,000.00 to buy her lower rental house. She had the money, she spent the money and now, she is asking for money again. HEY, it's a RECESSION. People
have enough to pay for without having to pay for someone else's house.
The LAWS in Canada dictate that there is no personal gain allowed when collecting donations under registered charities. You haven't had any students and you may have one this year but you want people to buy you a house. Planting a garden and then, demanding to see it through to harvest is an old rental tactic to stay in a rented place and not have to move at the renter's expense.
I have serious questions about this organization and how it is collecting money from unassuming people.
MY QUESTION AGAIN: IF YOU GAVE THE HOUSING AUTHORITIES $20,000.00 TO PAY FOR YOUR HOUSE AND THEY REFUSED THE CHECK, WHERE IS THE $20,000.00. WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO COLLECT ANOTHER $25,000.00 ON 'TOP' OF WHAT YOU CLAIMED TO HAVE ALREADY.
THIS APPEARS TO BE A CASE WHERE A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION HAS BECOME THE CHARITY AND THIS IS NOT ALLOWED BY CANADIAN LAW.

I just found your blog. Obvious not endorsed by Gay Caswell. She can not afford to have the truth known. Since your last posting Gay has purchased the house for $25,000.00 from donations received. I feel sorry for the donors who believe they are funding a worth while charity. I know personally that 99% of what comes out of Gay's mouth is a lie. If anyone has questions please post under comments on this blog and I will try to answer or point you to who can. This woman is a major scam artist. I wonder after reading some of her latest blogs if the Catholic churches who know her locally are not supporting her because they know?
